LJUPČO KONSTANTINOV was born in
Macedonia. Has finished high musical school in Bitola and studied on
Musical Academy in Belgrade. Has been working in theatre since 1976.
Permanent associate of Paolo Magelli for 16 years already. By chance their
first collaboration took part in Split on performance Danton's death.
Since then, Ljupčo has composed music for nearly all Magelli's
performances: Electra, Helena, Platonov, Mad days, Three Sisters, Uncle
Vania, Black hole, Tatood souls, Metastable grail, Good Man from Setzhuan,
Buzdo, The Brick… Has composed music for film and was
awarded with Golden arena. Also composes music for radio drama and was
awarded for the best music for radio drama
on Festival of Yugoslav radio-television in Ohrid 1979. He has also
received many rewards and awards on various festivals in this part of the
world, but also across the Atlantic (award for the best music on Second
international theatre festival in Mexico City). |
