and concept: Kilina Cremona The
dance and the City, the ephemeral and monumental are being imprinted
into architectuaral context as two opposites which carry all the weight
of history summed up in numerous symbols. The
viewer has not decided to be a viewer in advance. He is not more then a
casual passerby who stops and approaches the uncapturable and
unpredictable nomadic world. The
City in our performance is the idea of
an impressive, finished, unchangeable, in one word, established
order. Dance, the sporadic, product of a moment, represents a concept of
an artistic idea open to further creative changes. Being in touch with
such ideas, one feels that we are not people of palaces, cathedrals, the
stone symbols and their history. We write history in every moment of our
lives with what seems unimportant, casual, little and everyday routine
and by our artistic ways we give meaning to the City. A
tango will be vowen like a silken thread into the streets of the City,
like a guide to a casual passerby who will take a role of a viewer and
become a part of this moment in a new-found meaning. In
melting of life which is written in stone and the magic of a passing
moment - real life of creation - we shall find the meaning of our
existence. Kilina Cremona |
