Born in Split, Croatia, where she lives until she is eighteen and receives a scholarship to study abroad. At Florida International University, in Miami USA, she graduates in Communications’ Technology in 1981 and in Theatre Direction in 1984 with highest honors. Since then she has frequently directed in Croatia and abroad. She translates dramas from english and spanish (Fool for Love, Agnes of God, Play it Again Sam, Zlocini Srca, Death and the Maiden, Three Tall Women, Lector, Glass Menagerie, King Kong Palace, The Tourist’s Influence in the Inclination of the Tower of Pisa, Poisson for Theatre). She also writes essays on theatre in Croatia and abroad. Since 1977 she is Croatian National Theatre in Split’s director in residence, and in October 2002 she becomes Artistic Drama Director of CNT Split. Almost all her plays have participated in national and international festivals where they have received several awards.
