UPON AIR AND FOG ‘Cigla’
(‘Grand’) is a specific chronology of events that took place in Croatia from 1991 to
1995, dealing with the post Vietnamese or better said post-Vukovar syndrome. Cigla
speaks about the parasites in the society who live at the expense of the smallest,
productive part of the society who produces food. Since it has become a habit for a man to
work every day, and I really don’t know who invented this habit, lots of unecessary
energy and made-up professions are being accumulated. My play treats exactly that group of
people who live upon air and fog.
